Smoozie & Jackson

These boys were adopted separately from the shelter. Jack came to us as a kitten; Smooz as an adult stray. Though they looked alike, they were not related and had personalities as different as they could be. Jack loved all the dogs and cats he lived with. He was the one the younger cats came to for snuggling. Smooz (Smoothie) was called loving and friendly by the shelter staff before I adopted him but for a long time he was generally cranky, stuck to himself and merely tolerant of the others in the house. After Jackson died, Smooz came out of his shell and became a real cuddler as well as my RV buddy. Smooz died tragically and unexpectedly earlier this year. Jackson died last year. My two buff-colored buddies. I will miss you both always.
