Snow White, terribly missed.

Snow White

Never Forgotten

Snow White was 7 years old and the daughter of my oldest, Nova. She had a wonderful personality, where her mom is very docile. Snows followed me everywhere; slept on my bed, slept/sat on the couch with me and slept on my feet at times (ever since she was a baby). She loved lollipops and squeaky balls. She was very vocal and let me know if anyone came near the house or happen to be walking by. She suffered terribly with nasal cancer. I tried to raise funds to help with chemo but in the end, she only got worse and I had to put her down. I was in shock when she passed in my arms and couldn't stop crying for days. I cried even harder the first night when she didn't jump up on my bed.

Nova still goes out in the yard, sits and stairs out at the trees. and I assume she's still waiting for Snowy to return. It's heartbreaking to see but I do try and pay attention to her as much as possible. We miss Snowy terribly.

The journey through grief is different for everyone, but we know support, community and sharing stories help make the experience one of remembrance, renewal and even celebration of the life lost. We hope you find comfort in the memorial you’ve set up for your companion and encourage you to share with family and friends so they can show their love and support.
