Storm
Forever in our hearts
Storm was born with colobomas in both eyes, making him nearly blind in one eye and only partial sight in the other. But that didn't stop him from enjoying life. He earned his Canine Good Citizen at 13 mos. old and started to learn agility. At the age of four, he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy which we worked hard to control. He continued his agility, at which he was outstanding, and learned Nosework. He was the best companion anyone could ever hope for. He understood almost every word I said and never let me out of his sight. In March of 2014, at the age of eight, he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He had two surgeries and months of chemotherapy and managed to stay with us for two more years, enjoying his agility to the end. He was a kind and compassionate soul who loved everyone and all other dogs. He made life so enjoyable with his squeaky toys and inventing games to play. It has been six months now and I know I will never forget my perfect Storm. He left us for the Rainbow Bridge on March 22, 2016.
