Tobie
Tobie was independent, loyal, and always ready to love. He enjoyed long walks, spending time with his family, and eating dandelions. Tobie was born a fighter. Through many, many tough battles he persevered and showed us what it truly meant to be strong, all the way to the end. He was more than a dog, more than a pet. I will never be thankful enough that I got to share part of my life with him. I hope one day to be reunited with my little buddy. No words accurately describe just how amazing he was. Everyone he came in contact with loved him. He deserved the world.
Remembering and honoring you every day, in many different ways
there’s so many words i could say, but none of them would fully encapsulate the impact toby had on not only my life, but all of our lives. whenever i was sad or had an injury, toby was the first of our pups who would crawl in bed beside me and lick my wound over and over because that was his way of kissing it all better. when people say pets are often overlooked, they’re right. our fur babies are our family members and the most loyal companions a human being could ever have. they are far more individualistic than any person and purely irreplaceable. we take such love and care for granted. i have many years of my life to go, but it will not be the same without toby by my side. to me, toby may not be my entire life, but to all of us, we were his- until his final breaths. i miss you so much buddy- say hello to teddy for us and wait patiently, as we will reunite one day. i hope you get to meet jazz too- you were both similar in many ways. cuddly, shaky, a little lost sometimes, but full of love and a source of smiles❤️
