Tucker
Forever in our hearts
Tucker was my one of a kind dog, my heart and soul dog. In 2003 we went to possibly get a female German Shorthaired Pointer puppy. My husband, 5 year old son Travis and our GSP Bailey went to look at the female. She wanted nothing to do with us, as we started to leave we heard a cry and looked to see the cute male almost all liver GSP sitting at the fence crying to us. Travis and I looked at each other and said he is the one we want. Tucker picked us to be his forever family. What a joy he was is our lives. At a young age Tucker started having health problems. We managed his severe allergies and as he got older we discovered he had an autoimmune disease called Erythema Multiforme. In 2011 Tucker had a lump on his chest which we discovered was the awful C word! He had a Nerve Sheath tumor. He recovered but in 2013 had another one on his leg. He had surgery again. Tucker was a trooper, he always had the best loving positive attitude, everyone loved him! Tucker went through so may health challenges in his life and through it all, he was always happy, he followed me everywhere, always looking at me with love. Tucker was a fighter and he was also a goof ball with his silly grins. He was doing so well until 7-13-15 we rushed him to the vet where they told us he had Hemagiosarcoma, I died a little that day with him. I can't put into words to say how much Tucker meant to me or how much I miss him. There will never be another Tucker~
