Wallace "by the River" 6/16/07 - 4/22/20 🐾

Although we knew the day would eventually come that we’d have to say goodbye, too soon as it always does with our our beloved four-legged friends, it does not make it any easier to say farewell to our sweet Wallace. Three years later, we still miss our beloved boy so very much.

It's hard to know what to say about one of the best souls we’ve ever known, because nothing seems live up to him. Wallace was the smartest, sweetest, most loyal, independent, stubborn, funny, and adventurous dog. For a guy who never made a peep (except at skateboarders) he had the biggest, almost-human personality. Everyone who met him (in life and on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/ourscenictails/) loved him. For his almost 13 years, he never stopped living life to the fullest and inspiring us to do the same. When his body started slowing down and he couldn’t walk as far anymore, he was still always so excited to get in his buggy and roll onto the next adventure.

One day, at a routine checkup, the Vet discovered his blood work was out of wack and suspected it was cancer. His health deteriorated quickly after that, and he spent his final days going on adventures, eating alllllll his favorite foods, and snuggling up close with his family. 

We're honored to start this Furever Memorials, in Wallace's honor, and to help raise funds to support Morris Animal Foundation who fund researchers around the world who are helping dogs, cats, horses and wildlife.
