In Memory

Anyone who met Yogi knew how special he was. He spread joy everywhere he went and loved trying to make people feel as happy as he was. Yogi was the most gentle and sensitive soul and always knew when someone needed a cuddle. I could go on and on about how amazing he was but you can just trust me. This boy was a real-life walking angel and will forever be our best friend, soulmate, and brightest light in our family.

Yogi was diagnosed with histiocytic sarcoma in late May of 2022. We were told he only had 3 to 6 months but we couldn't accept that as a reality. After a few rounds of chemotherapy, organic home cooked meals, chinese medicine and herbs, mushroom supplements (you name it we tried it), Yogi passed at home surrounded by family in August of the same year. He was only 6 years old and had so much more life to live with his sisters Lily and Wyn. This disgusting cancer is highly aggressive and golden retrievers are disproportionally affected. We hope you will join us in honoring this angel boy and donate to help find new therapies to fight cancer for fur babies everywhere.

The journey through grief is different for everyone, but we know support, community and sharing stories help make the experience one of remembrance, renewal and even celebration of the life lost. We hope you find comfort in the memorial you’ve set up for your companion and encourage you to share with family and friends so they can show their love and support.
